Compassionate pet care at life's end - Caring Pathways end of life pet care, hospice and in-home euthanasia services
We understand that the prospect of losing your beloved dog, cat or pet companion is difficult, painful, and confusing. That is why we provide the following services:

Pet Medical Consultations

Our in-home medical assessment consultation allows us the opportunity to examine your pet and assess their condition as well as their home environment. We will help you answer the questions you have regarding your choices in planning for your pet’s best outcome in comfort. Depending on your individual circumstances, these choices may include in-home pet hospice care or in-home pet euthanasia.

Hospice care is an option for many pets and allows owners extra time with their pets.

Denver In-home Pet Hospice Care

Dog, cat or pet hospice care is an option for many which may allow you to have more time with your ill pet. We will help you keep them as comfortable, and as pain-free as possible until you decide between pet euthanasia and natural death. We will teach you how to do most of the pet hospice care in your Denver home, and we will personalize the care to the special needs of your pet’s situation. Denver Hospice care may last from a few days to a few weeks, and may improve the quality of life prior to the passing of your pet. The gift of in-home hospice care and extended life can be very rewarding and can further strengthen your bond with your pet.

Denver In-home Pet Euthanasia

We will help you with this most difficult decision by offering our expertise and support on every step of the process. When the decision for in-home dog, cat and pet euthanasia is made, we will come to your home when you need us, 24x7, to assist you with your pet’s peaceful transition. We will administer a sedating medication, as we believe that there should be no pain in these last moments of life. We will then administer a medication that will allow your beloved friend to pass quietly and peacefully. We will discuss with you all aspects of the procedure and what to expect, and we will thoroughly answer all of your questions. We will respectfully allow you and your family adequate time to spend with your pet during and after the procedure.
